<strong>I've caught "The Indie Virus"</strong>

ACHOO! I've caught the Indie Virus! Heard of it? It's a virus you want to catch. It's a way to spread the word about great blogs that are lesser known, and specifically not in the Technorati Top 100. That definitely includes me. So who gave me this ...

Thanks. I'll fix it.

I'm familiar with trackbacks and I couldn’t understand why Chris wanted us to use that URL, but I figured he knew some trick.

Hey, Dave. I think you might have misunderstood Chris' instructions for the Indie Virus. You're supposed to link to the blog using the link text "Indie Virus".

When Chris said "make sure that you link directly to a post WITH A TRACKBACK and not to the site itself" he meant to say, link to one of the articles. Articles have a trackback mechanism. He didn't mean to link to the trackback URL. That's only for the blogs to find each other.

Hope you don't mind my being pedantic. I'd like to see the outcome of this experiment. Chris needs folks to follow the rules so he can track the virus correctly.

I enjoy reading your blog, by the way, and I'm going to read your recommended blogs because I need to read more of this same good stuff.
