Do you toil in vain?
This week’s passage is from the New American Version of The Bible -Psalm 127
Unless the LORD builds the house,
its builders labor in vain.
Unless the LORD watches over the city,
the watchmen stand guard in vain.
In vain you rise early
and stay up late,
toiling for food to eat—
for he grants sleep to those he loves.
My thoughts:
Our ability to work is a gift from God. We have a responsibility to give our best effort to our jobs everyday. Our effort is a reflection upon us and upon God.
Give 100% of your effort to your work each and every day. You’ll feel better about yourself and it will pay big dividends in the long run.

Your comments ring true to me as well. Throughout the years I’ve found that giving your best, and not only thinking of yourself, is a great tonic to the working-place blues.
It didn’t matter if the work is what some would call exciting, or if it was downright crazy in a good way.
Doing your absolute best is a way to enjoy the situation you’re in no matter what it is you’re doing.
